Supported Projects

The Johnston Booster Club distributes funds to district programs through grants, scholarships and fundraising partnerships.

Grants

The Johnston Booster Club provides funding for grant requests that offer opportunities reaching beyond the scope of the JCSD Activities Department’s regular funding limits. The objective of the Booster Club is to invest in grant requests that have a long-term impact on athletes/activity participants, coaches and activity leaders; represent non-recurring expenditures; and have measurable results. View more details about the grant application and review process.

Scholarships & Direct Student Support

The Booster Club supports coaches and activity leaders with “scholarship” funds throughout the year to help students with economic needs to fully participate in activities, including helping defray specific student’s participation in team camps or for personal equipment such as shoes.

Fundraising & Volunteer Partnerships

The Booster Club provides support to a variety of other district activities and groups through collaborative fundraising and volunteer work in concession stands.
